Ports Australia is the peak body representing Australia’s port authorities and corporations, and I helped design and build the site to better explain the positive impact of their work on the lives of every Australian.
Today’s excellent Melbourne service design and design teams worked with Ports Australia to define their value to ordinary Australians through their contributions to the economy, sustainability, and business community. I then took the resulting findings and expressed the new comms and UX direction through wireframes, and then the full visual build of the UI and site in in Webflow, a browser-based web design platform which essentially provides a GUI for CSS.
I worked with our dev team to create a custom interactive map, which allows users to filter through the many ports with a combination of size, import, and export commodity. I also worked with the Ports team to uplift their digital capability to allow them to maintain the platform into the future.
