Every year, The Cerebral Palsy Alliance runs Steptember – a peer-to-peer online fundraising campaign which encourages ordinary Australians to wear a pedometer for 28 days, and do their best to reach 10,000 steps a day. Their friends and family can then sponsor them to raise funds for children with Cerebral Palsy.
10,000 steps sounds daunting, but we wanted to show you don’t have to run a marathon every day to stay healthy and do good for kids in need – you just need to get a little creative.
The campaign raised $4 million for kids with Cerebral Palsy as a result.
